These Are the Best Handbag Organizers for FINALLY Getting Your Messy Purse in Order

Marie Kondo is here to show you how organizing a purse is done.

If you've ever stuck a hand in your purse and shuffled through a sea of gum wrappers and lipsticks before finding exactly what it was that you were looking for, you're not alone. The struggle to keep a handbag in order is all too real &mdash which is why we dug up a few of the best handbag organizers we could find and asked Marie Kondo, author of The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up and star of Netflix's hit show Tidying Up With Marie Kondo, to help us finally master the mess.

To get started, Marie recommends taking everything out of your purse so you can see all the stuff you've been carrying around on your shoulder. The goal, per her KonMari Method, is to keep only the things that "spark joy" for you &mdash a.k.a. the items that make you happy and add a little something positive to your life.

Once you've decided what you definitely want to keep, you should sort those things by category. (Think: makeup and lotions in one pile, books and papers in another, electronics in a third, and so on.) Then place the smaller items in little pouches or purse organizers so they won't be left floating around the bottom of your handbag. As you place items inside, though, make sure to avoid stacking your things on top of each other try to file them all in vertically instead &mdash this will make it easier to quickly locate anything you might need inside.

Last but not least comes the most important part: actually packing up your purse. Place the largest items (pouches, books, etc.) in first and then slot smaller items (such as sunglasses) in around them. You'll know you've done a good job if, when you take a look inside, you can see everything.

Now that you're armed with the knowledge you need to master your handbag mess, all you need are the right tools: Check out the affordable organizers below, and then get tidying.

This Is the Most Wished For Gift on Amazon This Year — And It’s on Major Sale Right Now!

As the world’s largest online retailer, Amazon has about a bajillion wishlists and registries on file. So around the holidays, it’s always fun to take a look at their “Most Wished For” section to get a pulse on what everyone’s really hoping to see under their tree on Christmas morning. This year’s top gift in the kitchen and dining category is a little surprising, but also says a lot about the epic year we’ve all had. Drumroll please…the most wished-for gift for 2020 is none other than the Instant Pot, and it also happens to be on major sale right now!

Honestly, it shouldn’t come as a big surprise that everyone wants an Instant Pot this year! The countertop appliance is a versatile powerhouse that can seriously up your home cooking game and inject a little creativity into your recipe roster — which, after cooking much more at home this year, might be getting a little stale. (It me!)

And when it comes to picking the right one for you or your loved one, there are tons of sizes and options to choose from. If you’re cooking for just one or two or short on storage space in the kitchen, opt for the Instant Pot Duo Mini or the newer Instant Pot Duo Nova, which are both up to 26 percent off right now. Consider the 6-Qt. Duo (21 percent off) if you’re cooking for three to five folks and the 8-Qt. Duo (29 percent off) if you regularly cook for a crowd. But the absolute best deal happens to be on the souped-up 6-qt. Duo Nova that’s a whopping 40 percent off! Fun fact: It’s also one of our favorite Instant Pot models, with thoughtful additions like an Easy Seal Lid, “which automatically sets to seal when you close it (with older versions, you had to this yourself and it was easy to forget!),” adds Lifestyle Director Lisa Freedman.

So go ahead and snag your Instant Pot. And once it arrives, we’ll be right here waiting for you with a ton of recipe ideas to put your brand new appliance to good use! The only hitch? You’ll want to act fast before the reigning most-gifted kitchen item of 2020 goes back to full price.

We all want to feel our best. Consuming whole fruits and veggies each day is a great way to get and stay healthy. It's easy, too, when you make fresh, nutritious smoothies a part of your daily routine. We've rounded up the top-rated smoothie blenders that will start you off on the right foot each morning.

Best Value: Ninja Professional Countertop Blender

With a name like Ninja, it's hard to go wrong. That's according to nearly 20,000 customer reviews, many of which profess a deep love for this top-rated (and very affordable) smoothie blender. There are multiple Ninjas on the market, but we're most enamored with the Ninja Professional Blender thanks to its sleek design, ice crushing that's aces and dishwasher-safe blades that make clean-up a dream. At 72 ounces, this powerful smoothie blender is the largest one on the list, making it easy to quickly concoct a fresh smoothie for two (or more).

Best for Serious Smoothie Makers: Vitamix 5200 Blender

Much like the Ninja, there are a variety of Vitamix blenders on the market, but none will run cheaper than three bills for this durable, high-quality blender brand. Yes, Vitamix blenders cost more than any other smoothie blender on this list, but the industry-standard quality practically ensures that the Vitamix will outlast all other blenders. An easy-to-use speed dial lets you easily adjust the speed of the blades, which, by the way, can tackle just about anything. "No chunks, no pulp, no fuss," notes one Amazon reviewer. This blender can clean itself in less than 60 seconds and can make hot soup too. It's everything.

Best for Beginners: Oster Texture Select Master Series Blender

With the Oster Texture Select blender, you can customize any blend texture with the touch of a button — whether thin, medium or thick — or use the manual settings for more control. It includes a dishwasher-safe, six-cup shatter-resistant glass jar, plus a 24-ounce Blend-N-Go cup.

Best Vitamix Alternative: Blendtec Total Classic Original Blender

There's much love and appreciation for the Blendtec Total Classic Blender thanks to extra-strong blades for smooth, consistent blends and easy, push-button blending control. It's also a snap to clean because, seriously, who wants to spend more time scrubbing out the blender than enjoying their juice drink or smoothie creation? Not us. Just add soap and water and the Blendtec cleans itself in less than a minute. This high-performance blender is hassle-free and easy to store until its next use, whether to pulverize ice for a margarita or get creative making soups, dressings, salsas or hummus.

Best for Quiet Blending: Breville Fresh and Furious Blender

Another top-rated smoothie blender with a cool name is the Breville Fresh & Furious Blender. One-touch, pre-set buttons, including Smoothie, Green Smoothie and Auto Pulse Ice Crush, make it a cinch to get going once you unbox the Breville. This highly-efficient blender is quiet (well, quiet-er than some of its fellow blenders), making this a popular pick. Whether you want to chop, crush, pulverize or macerate, the Fresh & Furious will serve you well.

Best for Single-Serve: NutriBullet Pro Nutrient Extractor

The NutriBullet has long been a popular blender choice. It's top-rated and has a clear fan base. Nearly 9,000 reviews tout its ease of use, durability and reliability, among other qualities. You'll also find loads of advice in the reviews, even "tips for smoothie grandmasters" from one five-star reviewer. The NutriBullet is a great entry-level blender that anyone in the family can use (ahem, and clean). A recipe book makes it a snap to get started with this blender. From here, several larger and more powerful blenders serve as ideal upgrades for those eager to level up but remain in the NutriBullet family.

Best Mini Multi-Tasker: Magic Bullet Blender

Go beyond smoothies, and make sauces, dips and more with the Magic Bullet. It can chop, mix, blend and whip so you can make practically anything, from breakfast to dessert. It'll be your new favorite kitchen assistant.

Best Portable Blender: PopBabies Portable Blender

This portable blender for smoothies and baby food is powered by a USB cord and powerful enough to blend small ice cubes. This budget-friendly option is a great pick for smoothies (or baby food) on-the-go since the bottle is about the size of an average water bottle and fits nicely in a purse or backpack.

15 Better Ways to Organize Your Pots and Pans

Wrangle these awkward pieces of cookware &mdash and so, so many lids &mdash once and for all.

Pots, pans, and lids are some of the hardest pieces of kitchen equipment to handle. They're big and bulky, but often used, so you have to find a lot of easily-accessible space for them. Here, see how to keep everything tidy and make use of some extra kitchen square footage while you're at it.

These organizers by Glideware let you hang the pots as if they were on the rack, but within a cabinet so you don't have to see the clutter.

Peel-and-stick 3M Command hooks can transform wasted space into open-air storage. Use them in awkward nooks, like between the kitchen cabinet and the wall.

It doesn't help if you have a beautifully organized cabinet of pots, but a jumbled mess of lids. This wall-mounted organizer lets you see all the variety of lid sizes at once.

Or, if you're just looking for a quick way to keep a stack of pots neat, keep the lids on your pots while they're in your cabinet &mdash but flip them upside-down, so the handle sticks inside the pot. Not only will you eliminate the need to search for the right-size lid, you'll have a flatter, smoother surface where you can stack the next pot.

A bare, blank wall gets a stylish (and functional!) upgrade with a black pegboard. Hang your pots and pans from hooks and outline them in chalk so you never forget where each item lives.

Don't let the side of your cabinet go to waste: Install a short rail to magically turn the empty space into storage. Since the bar probably won't hold your entire collection, opt to hang the items you use most often &mdash or the prettiest ones (like these copper beauties).

Add 1/4-inch pieces of plywood to your deepest drawer to create cubbies for all of your pots and pans &mdash and avoid epic stacking fails.

Replace the lazy Susan that usually lives in your corner with this savvy solution instead &mdash it's bigger than your average cabinet so you can keep your entire collection in one place.

Who knew you could find your MVP of kitchen organizers at an antique shop? This ladder gets a new life when it's coated with bright paint and hung from the ceiling as a pot rack.

Since each shelf gets shorter as this organizer gets taller, you never have to dig under the top of a cabinet to find what you're looking for. Sauce pans go on top, while bigger pieces go below.

If you have a tall backsplash, affix a pegboard to hang pots and pans above your counter. This way, they'll be easy to reach, and if you have a colorful collection (like this blue one) it'll double as art.

If you have a walk-in pantry (lucky you), make the most of the back wall by hanging your bulky kitchen accessories on it &mdash now items are quick to find, use, and store.

These oversized shelves are stylish, too. Pots live on the bottom, and &mdash since now you don't have to deal with doors or sides of cabinets &mdash you can pull out your go-to scrambled eggs pan without any obstacles.

The wall next to your stove doesn't have to stay blank: Use two rails and S-hooks to hang pots and pans, and store lids safely between the rails and the walls.

This wire rack holder for your cabinet gives every item a designated place: Lids go on top, pans go in the back, and pots go up front. Oh and did we mention it can fits snuggly under a standalone stovetop? How convenient.

That means those jumbled mess of wires, whether they're attached to headphones or stuffed behind your TV, should all have homes to stay nice and neat (and save your sanity).

These 15 cord management products will keep your wires neat and make you feel a little more zen every day. And couldn't we all use that?
