Ingredients for Making Beef Soup
- Beef (tenderloin) 450 grams
- Frozen vegetables 1 pack
- Beef broth 4 cups (possible from a cube)
- Pickled tomatoes (crushed in a blender) 950 milliliters

Making beef soup:
Step 1: prepare the meat.
Thawed beef needs to be washed, cleaned of fillets and blood vessels, and then cut into small cubes. Just do not grind much, I want the meat to be clearly felt in the finished soup.
Step 2: prepare the potatoes.
Rinse the potatoes well, if it is fresh, then you can not even peel the skin. But I leave it to your choice, it's your soup. And you need to cut the potatoes into cubes, as well as beef.
Step 3: prepare the onion.
Peel the onion and chop very finely. By the way, so that during the cutting of the onion you do not shed unnecessary tears, just moisten it and the knife with cold water.
Step 4: stew the meat.
You will need a wide and large pan. Heat butter in it. After the oil warms up well, put the pieces of beef in it.
Fry the meat until brown, stirring all the time. Do not let the meat sink to the bottom or burn, we do not need a crispy crust.
Step 5: add the onion.
When the beef changes color, add onions to it and mix well.
Simmer all together for several minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 6: add the potatoes.
Add previously prepared potatoes to the stew pot and mix again.
Step 7: add the vegetables.
Add frozen vegetables. I know that many housewives harvest vegetables in this way, freezing them in order to better preserve the taste and benefits. But you can use purchased mixtures, why not.
Now it’s the turn of finely chopped tomatoes. Use a blender to chop pickled tomatoes, turning them into tomato puree.
Stir all the ingredients in a saucepan.
Add granulated sugar.
And then the salt. Start with one teaspoon, but towards the end of cooking, be sure to try the soup and salt it if necessary. It is better to add salt gradually than to salt the dish.
Step 8: Cook the Beef Soup
Pour in beef broth. Of course, it will be better if it is a natural broth, but if it is not, then you can use the cubes, diluting them in the right amount of water.
Add natural sauce and hot sauce to the soup too, if you like.
Mix everything well, reduce heat to below average, close the lid and cook. So it is necessary to cook beef soup, slowly boiling it at a low temperature. Periodically (once per 20-30 minutes) open the lid and mix the contents of the pan.
Cook the soup until the potatoes are soft and the meat is cooked. It usually takes about 3 hours.
Attention: the soup is very thick, if you like more liquid, then add one more cup of broth.
The finished beef soup looks and smells delicious. Serve it hot.

I do not recommend spoiling beef soup with mayonnaise, it does not fit here and that's it.
